ADDICTION TO SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES



     Man is a social animal. In digital world, people are socially connected through social networking sites. They share photos, love, likes, thoughts and opinions etc. All your friends are connected world-wide irrespective of the fact whether they live near or far away. Social networking sites, web-cams, mobiles and other gadgets have lessened the gap among loved ones, family and friends.



But now-a-days many people have become too dependable on these things. Too much usage of anything is not good. It can have varying consequences on the lifestyle, physical and mental health of human being. Some people feel happy when they are connected with others but as soon as they get disconnected they get bored, lethargic, dull, attention-deficit easily.



The root cause of all these consequences is that people have forgotten how to live alone. Now-a-days when they are alone, they don`t indulge in constructive habits and interest. They are in constant thoughts of future or past events and forget about the PRESENT. Also blue-light affect their physical health. As a result their relations may get affected with the near-by-people as most of time spending on gadgets and ignoring people around you.



Some tips and tricks are fruitful enough to help people overcome these consequences and live life to the fullest. 


  • People should do yoga and meditation for some time.


  • You should be consciously aware where you are and what you are doing. You should enjoy your own company. Feel the air, you breathe in and breathe out. 


  •    People should be more consciously aware what they are eating. Eat a healthy diet.


  •  Remember don`t be lost in the thoughts and be aware. While pouring water, feel the freshness of water; see the bubbles forming inside the glass, then drink the water. Similarly try to connect with the nature.


  •  In the morning, wake up early and enjoy the nature. See the birds chirping, feel the wind blowing, listen the musical sound of nature itself.


  •    Be happy & enjoy your own company. The way you are is a result of billion-trillions possibilities. Remain the way you are. Feel the liveliness in yourself.



  •   Be creative and make your own way. Don`t try to imitate or follow others. You are unique in your own way.
